I know, you may not want to vote Republican.  I am not trying to ram this down your throat, so if you are not voting for McCain, then just skip this post and do not click on his picture.  Do not get all bent about me posting this.

Boycott Venezuelan Oil…China issues.

When are we going to be fed up with people like Hugo Chavez. We put up with their bullsh*t, and then keep buying the very thing that keeps them in power. So I say boycott as much fuel as you can from companies that use Venezuelan oil.

ConocoPhillips & Citgo (Citgo is a subsidiary of Venezuela’s state-owned oil company, Petroleos de Venezuela S.A.) are two of the American companies that I can find that are doing business with Venezuelan oil companies.

The American people need to take their heads out of the sand (myself included) and stop supporting all that is wrong on the planet and start supporting what you believe in. The best way to make a stand is with the almighty dollar. Pick and choose what you buy. Make sure that the products origin is not the source of contention in our everyday life. This brings me to another topic that has been bugging me lately:

China – Why do we buy so much from them and do not export enough back to them. I was reading in the paper today about a Chinese woman who is among the richest in the world. She got that way by taking our used paper products and shipping them to China. They in turn make boxes and such with the paper and then send it right back to us with all of the cr*p that we buy.

I remember when I was a child and almost every car had a bumper sticker “Buy American”.  I am not saying that we have to go back to that much extremism; but can we make better decisions based on origin and if it makes sense?

Hillary, Obama and the Democratic Machine.

So here we go, the next two years are going to be filled with so much Bush hating Republican bashing rhetoric. I can not wait…NOT. If the Dems want to make a difference then they need to sh*t or get off the pot. They ran a hard and possibly deceitful campaign in 06 to unseat the GOP, yet they have not started acting on the promises that they made to their faithful followers. But they know that they can not stir the pot again for awhile as it will create a backlash that they would not be able to recover from. Are we ready for the first women president, regardless if she can do the job? Are we ready for the first black president, regardless if he can do the job? Or did they do too good of a job in this last election and will force the American public to want a Republican in the Oval Office again to maintain some sort of balance. Would we the people of this great nation really be taken care of if we have Dems in full control? So far I think not. Just think there is going to be so much trash digging on all of the candidates over the next two years that we are going to be sick of it all. And why does it have to start so damn early this time. Focus, you greedy Dems and get to doing what you campaigned on. I am not looking for you to change the world, nor do I think that you can, but I do believe in a balanced but FAIR government. We do need to fix this fiasco of a war. We do need to fix the border issues, but lets not forget the rest of the planet. But we need to do so with respect to the people of this great nation, and this world. We need to do so with one voice.
